Emilia Holweg

Emilia Holweg wurde am 19.02.2003 in Berlin geboren und studiert seit Oktober 2022 klassischen Gesang an der HMT Leipzig in der Klasse von Prof. Caroline Stein.

Bereits in ihrer Kindheit und Jugend wirkte sie bei vielen Jugendopern- und Musiktheaterprojekten ihrer damaligen Musikschule mit und übernahm die Chorleitung eines Jugendchores des CVJM, den sie von 2016 bis 2020 leitete.
Von 2018 bis 2021 bekam sie klassischen Gesangsunterricht bei Katharina Moll-Firl.
Die junge Koloratursopranistin gewann 2020 bei „Jugend Musiziert“ einen 1. und einen Sonderpreis mit Weiterleitung zum Landeswettbewerb, der leider coronabedingt abgesagt werden musste.

Nach dem Abitur 2021 nahm Sie am Studienvorbereitungsprogramm der Musikschule Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg in der Klasse von Sebastian Noack (Bariton) teil.
In diesem Jahr nahm sie außerdem Gesangsunterricht bei Wolfgang Millgramm (Tenor) und besuchte Meisterkurse von Prof. Yamina Maamar (Mezzosopran) und Anna Samuil (Sopran).

Emilia Holweg (*19.02.2003 in Berlin) has been studying classical singing in the class of Prof. Caroline Stein at the HMT Leipzig since October 2022.

She started singing at a very young age, joining opera- and theater projects for children at her former music school. Furthermore, she directed a YMCA youth choir from 2016 to 2020.

From 2018 to 2021 Emilia took classical singing lessons with Katharina Moll-Firl.
In 2020, the young coloratura soprano won a first and a special price at the „Jugend Musiziert“ competition, enabling her to participate in the next round, which had to be cancelled due to the Pandemic.

After her high school graduation in 2021, she joined the class of the baritone Sebastian Noack as part of her preperatory year at „Musikschule Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg“.
That same year she also took singing lessons with the tenor Wolfgang Millramm and participated in masterclasses with mezzosoprano Yamina Maamar and soprano Anna Samuil.
