Younggi Moses Do

Der junge Tenor stammt aus Korea und studierte Gesang an der Pusan National Universität. Er gewann den 2. Preis beim Lied-Wettbewerb in Yeonji, den 3. Preis beim Busan-Ilbo Singing Competition (Korea) und den 3. Preis beim International competition L.Zanuccoli (Italy).

Er setzte seine Studien an der Musikhochschule Lübeck und an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig fort. Während seines Masterstudiums sang er den Erzähler in Carl Orffs Der Mond am Staatstheater Kassel und wurde daraufhin ins feste Ensemble engagiert. 

Zu seinen Pariten dort gehörten unter anderem Tamino in "Die Zauberflöte", Arbace in "Idomeneo" und Aufidio in "Lucio Silla" von Mozart, Don Ramiro in "La cenerentola", Il conte d'Almaviva in "Il barbiere di Siviglia" von Rossini, Pepe in "Pagliacci" von Leoncavalo, Pong in "Turandot" von Puccini, Der Hirt in "Tristan und Isolde" von Wagner, Oronte in "Alcina" von Händel. 

Gastengagement führte ihn an das Staatstheater Braunschweig. Er wird als Don Ottavio in "Don Giovanni" von Mozart unter Leone Magiera in Ferrara (Italien) zu hören.

Bei NDR, MDR, hr2 Kultur war er Live zu erleben. Unter Ton Koopman war er mit Bach-Kantaten zu hören, in der Hamburger Laeiszhalle sang er die Tenor-Partie in Mozarts Requiem und Haydns Die Schöpfung.

Er verfügt über ein großes Arien-Repertoire von Mozart bis Verdi und pflegt mit regelmäßigen Auftritten seine Liebe für Konzert und Lied.

Meisterkurse bei Leone Magiera, Margreet Honig, Gerd Uecker und Prof. Angelika Luz, vervollständigen seine Ausbildung.
